The Lanikai S-TEQ is an electric tenor ukulele. Don't let the 'S' in the name fool you into thinking it's a soprano. The S actually stands for spruce. But it is only the soundboard that's made from spruce, the back and sides are mahogany. It a sweet sounding ukulele as you can tell from the video (it's the ukulele on our left).

What really marks them out is the price. You can pick them up for around $200. For that you get a solid top instrument with full electrics, case, books etc. Which is a great deal.
